THE AREA: This
property is in the California Pines subdivision in Modoc County. It is about 50 miles south of the California/Oregon border and 30 miles west of the California/Nevada border. It is next to the Modoc National Forest which contains hundreds of miles of trails for exploration and enjoyment. If you enjoy outdoor recreation, Modoc County is a giant playground. Hiking or horseback riding on mountain trails is spectacular. Opportunities are abundant for those who like to hunt or fish. With over 300 days of sunshine and only 17 inches of rain a year, it is a wonderful and healthy climate.
