Foley & Williams Reliable toy child’s sewing machine. Montgomery Wards sold this in 1905-1908. This is a heavy little machine which was made for women and children. The wheel turns easily and the needle bar goes up and down as it should. If I put fabric on sewing surface the fabric moves along as it should even though the needle isn’t there. I don’t have a needle in as I don’t have one, the needle was broke so I took it out. The screw is in the needle bar so putting a needle in will hold the needle. This came without the spool holder. I found one from a different brand but it doesn’t fit like it should. I’ll just send it with the machine.thinking if you wrapped some tape on end of spool holder you could push in that hole. I only bought this pretty little machine for display. Look at pictures carefully as this is an As Is with no returns. Only ship to the U.S. 48 states.
