    ALL ABOUT DEMING
The population of Deming is around 14,000.  The town is 60 miles west of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Economic development in the area includes employment opportunities at the United States Department of Homeland Security and in the tourism industry.  The area is also a major railroad hub to the west.  Higher education can be obtained at Dona Ana Community College in Deming.
Deming boasts many tourism destinations such as the Florida Mountains, Chihuahuan Desert, City of Rocks State Park, and Rockhound State Park. This area is known as a “rock hunters paradise.” The average winter temperature is 65F and the summer climate is a breezy, dry heat.
Nearby in Las Cruces: This city has a population of 95,000.  It is the home of the New Mexico State University Lobos.  Prospective development in this municipality includes the recently built Spaceport America.  It is the world’s first commercial spaceport.  New Mexico has a tradition in space leadership and it is anticipated in the near future that people will be taking commercial flights into space.  You can view more about spaceport at:
    http://www.spaceportamerica.com/
This is an area which, in my opinion, has a great upside.  Prior to the real estate downturn, lots were selling nearby two to three times more the price of this lot. Utilities are in the area but not to the property.  Like most property in the west, you will need a well for water.
If you are interested in this property, please use due diligence prior to bidding.  As with any purchase, it is recommended that you fully research and view the property prior to bidding so that you are certain that the property fits your needs, plans, and desires.
The initial payment is expected within 10 of the ending of the auction.
